Rubey Brief May 2025

Posted on 30 May 2025

It’s spring, and with it, Rubey is entering a new season of movement, momentum, and milestones. In this month’s newsletter, we’re excited to share three key updates with you.

Carnaval de Binche goes on tour. First stop: Poland!

Our landmark pilot project, Carnaval de Binche by James Ensor, is taking its next step — across borders. After two years of being on permanent display at KMSKA, the artwork will be loaned out to the National Museum of Warsaw for an international exhibition in Poland.

The temporary relocation is part of Rubey’s long-term vision: to bring iconic artworks not just into public institutions, but also into public circulation. The piece will be featured in an upcoming exhibition on European symbolism, underscoring Ensor’s relevance beyond Belgium and reaffirming the role of fractional ownership in unlocking cultural mobility.

Earlier this week, Rubey tokenholders received the news first. For our co-owners, this is a special moment: your shared investment is not only safe and visible, it’s now also travelling. A symbolic move that reflects Rubey’s mission to activate museum-worthy artworks as living cultural assets.

We’ll be sharing moredetails about the exhibition shortly via LinkedIn and instagram.

KMSKA Feminine. Preparations nearing final phase.

We’re entering the final stretch of preparations for KMSKA Feminine, Rubey’s upcoming investment initiative developed in close partnership with the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp.

The project’s ambition is clear: to build a publicly exhibited collection of museum-grade artworks, created exclusively by female artists, that rebalances visibility and representation within the canon of classical art. The curatorial work and structuring are advancing well, and we look forward to sharing more about the launch timeline soon.

KMSKA Feminine is the third initiative in Rubey’s full 2025 deployment of the “Fourth Pillar of Wealth”, following earlier projects in tech-enhanced art and collectible cars. Together, these three pillars represent Rubey’s blueprint for long-term, purpose-driven portfolio diversification.

Help build this Fourth Pillar of Wealth.

At Rubey, we believe culture deserves a seat at the investment table. Our mission is to turn museum-worthy assets into meaningful, regulated investment opportunities — combining long-term value creation with visible public impact.

We’re currently welcoming investor interest in our broader roadmap: classical art, collectible cars, and tech-enhanced artworks, the three building blocks of Rubey’s “Fourth Pillar of Wealth.” If you’d like to get involved at this early stage, or want to receive more information about the projects involved, simply reply to this email or reach out directly to maarten@rubey.be.

Together, we’re shaping a new kind of capital: purpose-driven, culturally relevant, and future-ready.

Kind regards, Maarten Van Doorslaer, CEO Rubey
