Rubey Brief April 2025

Posted on 05 May 2025

April marks a moment of renewal — and at Rubey, that spirit of new energy is definitely present. On April 24th, we hosted our second private launch event of the year, this time around one of our most exciting projects yet: collectible cars.

It was a great evening, filled with valuable exchanges, enthusiastic feedback, and a shared belief that we’re building something meaningful together. With each new project we develop, we take another step toward realizing Rubey’s broader mission: creating access to cultural icons, making them investable, and ensuring they remain visible to the public.

Why collectible cars? Because they are artworks on wheels. Whether it’s the aerodynamic elegance of a Lamborghini Miura, the timeless curves of a Ferrari Dino, or the iconic doors of the Mercedes 300SL Gullwing — these cars are masterfully designed expressions of their era. They are sculptural, emotional, and historically significant. And just like a painting or sculpture, their value increases when they are seen, appreciated, and placed in the right context — in this case, a world-class museum like Autoworld in Brussels.

This project is one of three private asset initiatives Rubey is launching this year, alongside projects focused on tech-enhanced art and classical works by female artists. While each project stands on its own, together they reflect Rubey’s conviction that culture is not just for consumption — it’s an asset class in its own right. Our goal is to build a fourth pillar of wealth, next to stocks, bonds, and real estate — rooted in tangible, rare, and culturally relevant assets.

Meanwhile, our website has been receiving major updates. Step by step, we’re making it easier to discover Rubey’s vision, past and present projects, and our investment approach. We’re also preparing the rollout of a renewed digital environment for token management and project participation, starting in May. This won’t happen all at once, but gradually — with a clear focus on usability and transparency.

If you’re interested in hearing more about our ongoing or upcoming projects — or if you’d like to explore participation — we invite you to submit your interest via the Become a Private Investor’ form on our website. We’ll follow up with you personally.

As always, we welcome your thoughts, questions, or ideas. Don’t hesitate to reach out via maarten@rubey.be, or connect with us on LinkedIn or Instagram.

Kind regards, Maarten Van Doorslaer, CEO Rubey
