Rubey Brief December 2024

Posted on 20 December 2024

After the successful launch of Rubey’s “Carnaval de Binche – James Ensor” proof-of-concept in 2022 (still a world first!), followed by a successful capital round in 2023 at Rubey corporate level, we rolled up our sleeves in 2024 to make Rubey a professional and sustainable company. To be honest, that did not go without a hitch. We thought, discussed, tried, tested, clashed, failed… and this over and over again. Until we finally felt that we had it right.

Today, we figured out who we are. Rubey is a private asset investment company. We offer fractionalized investment products to large and small investors, with museum-quality artworks and/or collectibles (“private assets”) as underlying value. We will continue to do this via regulated and digitally tokenized securities, because we are convinced that blockchain technology is going to be the leading technology to support securities in the future.

Rubey's goal is to create a positive impact for people and society, by democratizing access to investing in art and collectibles (and the associated investment returns), and by making these art and collectibles visibly accessible to as many people as possible. To achieve these goals, we like to cooperate with public and private partners.

In 2025, Rubey wants to launch two new projects. It has taken a while since the launch of the proof-of-concept in 2022, but we had our reasons. What Rubey does, is not easy. There is no script for the Rubey model, and there are no best practices. But perseverance wins, and for all problems arising there is always a solution. This characterizes the spirit of Rubey.

Of course, we cannot do this without you: our Rubey tokenholders, community, and enthusiasts. You are fantastic. Please, keep sending us your constructive feedback, be the critical note that we need, in order to improve. If you have an idea, a comment, a question, a collaboration plan, whatever, send an email to maarten@rubey.be, or write to us via linkedin or instagram. The more the better.

Wishing you a very nice Christmas and a happy New Year. See you in 2025!
